Santa John

SantaJohn is a jolly old elf in many ways. It seems that throughout the year, most conversations are often started with the phrase ”has anybody ever told you that you... look like Santa Claus?”
Every morning, the mirror shows me what others are seeing. I used to fight my “inner elf” but have now grown to accept and celebrate my honored role in life. I guess it shows that I have an acute “elf awareness” (and love puns).

It is a common occurrence to have a small child come up and want to speak with me quietly, especially around Christmas. Even the littlest ones somehow end up around me and I am putty in their hands.

While green is a wonderful color, I am most comfortable in red and find that I often will chose a red shirt over any other color in my closet, especially during labor relations discussions with the Elf Union or other tense times.


This is the real reason for the Christmas Season. Glory alone be to Him.
