The Grand Entrance

Remember that Santa is always looking for a Grand Entrance to your event. Please remember that Santa has a really tricked out sleigh, so his expectations are pretty high. This year I will even ride in on a Zamboni....how cool is that!

Shopping on Thanksgivng?

Let it be known that I am one of the greatest supporters of Christmas that exists. While it is OK to listen to Christmas Music any time of the year, I cannot agree that having stores open on Thanksgiving is a good thing. The origin of Thanksgiving was started by William Bradford to give thanks to God for helping the Pilgrims to survive the year. They even invited the local tribes to participate, so great was their bounty after almost starving the previous year. Gifts are just “stuff”....they can wait a day.

No mediocre elves

Santa was asked what he looks for in an elf. With the important task of being Santa’s ambassadors, mediocre elves wash out of the Elf Corps quickly. First of all, they must love Christmas and be thrilled to be in the elf role. Second, they are helpful and more than a little mischievous...the sparkle in the eye is a giveaway that you have a great elf. Third, they must be able to look at the world through a child’s eyes, with a good imagination and quick smile. The most important trait of a magnificent elf is a loving heart. I am fortunate to have the cream of the crop of elves...

Santa Writes "Permission" Slips

A service unknown to most people is the special dispensation given to Santa. I recently gave a special permission slip to a sweet woman who was struggling with guilt by playing Christmas Music BEFORE Thanksgiving. Who made that rule anyway? The guilt disappeared like magic! If you are so burdened, all it takes is a simple request, and a permission slip will be on the way.

Check out the "Preparing for Santa Section

In response to numerous questions, I have added a special “Preparing for Santa” page which gives a few of the time-tested hints to help those that have not had a Santa Visit before. Remember, this is a wonderful time of the year and don’t forget it is for FUN!
